S4BT and SQUAKE launch Gravity CO₂ reporting for corporate travel clients
Customers of Corporate Rates Club, part of S4BT – Solutions for Business Travel, gain access to emissions dashboards and sustainability insights.
Berlin, Germany, Wednesday 28 October – S4BT – Solutions for Business Travel, a leading European business travel technology integrator, has announced the launch of SQUAKE Gravity for customers of Corporate Rates Club (CRC), making CO₂ emissions reporting more accessible to companies managing their business travel programmes.
Following the strategic partnership announced in March 2026, the announcement marks the rollout of the joint offering. Starting in Germany, corporate clients can access Gravity using their existing travel data within S4BT, with the option to incorporate additional data sources and extend their reporting capabilities as required.
The launch comes as companies prepare their year-end sustainability reporting and face growing pressure to measure and manage business travel emissions alongside costs and compliance.
From travel data to actionable sustainability insights
SQUAKE Gravity brings travel-related greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂e) data into one reporting platform, giving travel, procurement and sustainability teams a clearer view of their environmental impact.
Through the platform, companies can:
- Monitor travel-related emissions, trends over time and key performance indicators.
- Analyse emissions and spending by destination, hotel chain and reporting period, including average emissions and spend per hotel night.
- Generate emissions reports to support internal monitoring and external sustainability reporting.
- Use these insights to inform travel policies, hotel sourcing and booking decisions.
- Add data from other sources, including their own systems or their travel management company (TMC), for a more complete view of their travel emissions.
Making sustainability a measurable part of travel performance
The launch responds to a growing shift in how companies manage business travel. Sustainability is becoming a core performance indicator, increasingly monitored alongside traditional metrics such as travel expenditure, negotiated rates and policy compliance.
While the first CO2 reduction targets companies have set themselves, including commitments made under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), come closer, European regulatory developments are placing increasing emphasis on environmental transparency and the credibility of sustainability information. The new EU EmpCO directive targeting misleading environmental claims took effect in September 2026, reinforcing the growing importance of reliable, substantiated environmental data.
Michael Krenz, CEO of CRC, commented:
“Travel managers are increasingly expected to monitor emissions with the same level of attention they give to costs and compliance. With SQUAKE Gravity, we’re making this information more accessible to our customers, helping them measure their impact and make better-informed decisions. This launch is about turning our partnership with SQUAKE into practical solutions for the companies we serve.”
A scalable solution, from reporting to decarbonisation
Beyond emissions reporting, companies can extend their use of Gravity with auditable reports, additional data sources and advanced emissions analysis. Further options include tools to support more sustainable booking decisions, access to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) contributions and certified climate projects.
Dan Kreibich, Co-Founder of SQUAKE, added:
“The real value of emissions reporting comes when companies can use that information to take action. Through our collaboration with S4BT, we’re making it easier for corporate travel clients to access reliable emissions data, extend their reporting and introduce practical decarbonisation measures as their needs evolve.”
